EuroBpo is looking for a 1st Line Network Support Engineer
We are looking for ambitious, goal-driven network engineers to join EuroBPO. Our customer is the fastest growing Internet Service Provider in London, providing bespoke Cloud and Connectivity solutions exclusively to the UK wholesale market.
In addition are the job position details:
Main Purpose of Role:
► Ensure our customer is provided with excellent technical support for all active services;
► Manage 1st Line Cases relating to network faults and alarms to meet the SLA commitments to Partners;
► Work together with various global Service Providers to ensure service stability and performance.
► To monitor and repair network faults and provide support and other network services;
► Manage Case queues for Pro-Active alarms, Faults, Data-Centre Access and Information Requests;
► To answer calls logging or updating Cases as appropriate;
► To log cases with global Service Providers as part of the troubleshooting process;
► Shift patterns position.
► Positive, self-motivated, good time-keeping and customer-value work ethic;
► Working knowledge, qualifications or experience of Wide-Area networking technologies, topologies and routing protocols;
► Strong analytical and trouble-shooting skills;
► Builds long-term relationships both internally and externally across different cultures;
► Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
Knowledge & Experience
► A background, additional qualification or experience in Telecommunication and/or a Networking environment will be considered a plus;
► Able to demonstrate knowledge of networking essentials, topologies and routing protocols;
► Good organizational skills;
► Process and Teamwork oriented approach with both internal and external customers;
Academic & Professional Qualifications
► Cisco or Juniper accreditation to at least CCNA or JNCIA level will be considered a plus;
► Travel within the UK may be required on occasion.
